Oh my heavens! LOL! Seriously big grin on my face. Lori, you're so awesome. I love that you're so REAL! You wrote this sweet, touching post about creating the most adorable Valentines of the bunch (and yours really were the cream of the crop)...and then you follow with what you had to sacrifice to do so. I love it! And, I say, good for you. You're living life as Mary (letting the household chores wait a bit while you learn and practice the teachings of the Savior.) It's better to be a Mary than a Martha (which means homemaker by the way--any relation to Martha Stewart?) Good for you! I know the children at Pediplace will feel that love you've passed on. I felt so supported by you and your family's help. p.s. Yay for you on the Wishblade!

Thanks, Lori, for the honesty! When I think about craft projects, I always think that the house has to be clean, the dishes done, the meal figured out for that night and children have to be on task with their responsibilities before I can justify starting a project. Hence, I don't do any fun projects. I'm going to follow your example and be creative once in a while.
