Ever After

My Man A Buck Sixty-Five.  That’s what Bryan claims he weighs.  It’s truly endearing how he tries to make me feel better in my advanced stage of pregnancy, proclaiming a “lofty” weight, thinking that there’s no way that I’ll hit that mark and thus will not feel quite so large.

Think again.

I can’t comprehend how he could possibly know how much he really weighs because I doubt that he has stepped on our bathroom scale in the last year.

Seriously.

Unlike me.

I weigh myself daily, if not more.

Seriously.

So, we are left to speculate about his true weight.

I ask you, my friends, if you think that the man in this picture, my wonderful husband, would even tip the scale at “a buck forty.”  And for the past few weeks that I’ve been on vacation in Utah distanced from BT, I’m awfully worried that he’s had to punch some new holes in his belt to keep his pants up.  A few nights ago, his dinner consisted of a can of diet root beer.

Until I get home (in a week and a half), if you happen to see Bryan out and about, will you please remind him to EAT!

Don’t feel bad. I passed my husband up at “a buck seventy two” during my first pregnancy. I never asked during the last two – learned that lesson!

I love your blog entries. They always give me a good laugh. 😀

And now that you mention it, I’m not sure if the Bishop will be able to make it another week and a half without you there to feed him. He did look like he was about ready to die of malnutrition when I passed him in the hall on Sunday… OK, not really.

We’re trying to keep him fed, but he’s so busy he hardly stops to eat! About the weight thing I know exactly how you feel!!! You are about my size and Dan is about Bryan’s….yeah, no fun, I usually pass him in weight by 6 months!

OK, weird. I usually use Mozilla Firefox, but the picture on this post wasn’t showing up. At first I thought that you never added the picture, but then the Bishop mentioned today that he couldn’t believe you posted this picture (he also mentioned something about getting back at you by starting his own blog and posting embarassing pictures of you – lucky for you he seemed to be joking). I thought, “That’s weird. I didn’t see a picture when I looked at that post”. I checked again (using Firefox), and no picture. So, I decided to check your blog using Internet Explorer, and lo and behold, there’s the picture. All the other pictures you posted show up when I use Mozilla Firefox except this one. Maybe Mozilla Firefox is trying to protect your husband…??
