Ever After

The only way I could keep Baby Tad contained this morning was to put him in his little wagon. Perhaps I’ve forgotten what the girls were like at this age, but I am seriously worn out from chasing the little guy around the house, trying to keep him from hurting himself.

His favorite hangouts are under the computer desk where he can chew on electrical cords of all shapes and sizes and in the corner of the kitchen where he can dine on little bugs that have escaped the constant sweeping and mopping I seem to be doing (mostly because Vivi’s potty training has been derailed in a big way).

Right now, he’s up in his crib, awake after a very brief nap, vocalizing his loneliness; but I don’t have my wits about me enough to go get him and start the rat race again.

~~~DEEP BREATH~~~
Ok. Ok.  Here I come little buddy . . .
    it’s all about being a boy! we had to resort to confining Breagan in one area of the house. Lots of gates. Maybe those circle gates to make a big play area for him in the family room. You put lots of toys in. He can see everything and you. Put a big rug under it to save your carpet. Then you don’t have to babyproof everything and keep chasing him. Soon he will learn. Right now everything is new! Oh the potty training thing….it is still an on going process for us. I used rubber pants to help me through the beginning then I wasn’t have to mop things up or wash so much! They have some pink ones with liners now. Breagan has the blue ones.
    Thanks for reminding me that I am not alone in the fight for sanity some days! A deep breath and a few prayers can go a long way. Hang in there!!
    Look at his eyes! I can’t believe anything you are saying!:) Look at his sweet peaceful smile. It is as if he is saying “I wouldn’t cause any distress on anyone.” With that cute picture- Sorry but I’ve got to be on his side.
    Lori next time post a picture of yourself with your hair frazzled- then I’ll swing my sympathy vote your way!
    Just kidding. I just finished watching our old neighbor’s kids for 2 weeks (1 and 4). I did not get anything done. Good luck this week!
    Lori, that picture is beautiful! Those days seem to be the norm around here with an official 2 yr. old 🙂 Good times! I was thinking of the nursing beads and I can’t remember where I put them. I’ll keep looking, but I remembered that it was Renae Palmer that gave them to me…a friend of hers had made them at a boutique…if I remember right. We missed Vivi today. Give her a big hug from me!
