Dear Jane,

I finally finished A9 this afternoon.

The modern-day author of the Dear Jane quilt book calls this block “Cabin Fever.” I don’t agree with many of the names she uses, but this label happens to fit. Both Vivi and I are suffering from the stomach flu. My body aches, I have the chills, and my stomach is in knots.

I’m going to go crawl under a nice warm quilt and rest.
