Dear Jane,

What were you thinking when you created C5?  Two pinwheel blocks and a reverse applique overlay?  Craziness.  But, I’m happy to say that the C-Row block that scared me the most is now DONE!

I worked on this block at swim team.  I worked on this block at piano lessons–two weeks in a row.  I finished this block last night as BT and the girls chased a bunny around the garden and planted the ornamental strawberry corn.  It was a very pleasant evening–perfect temperature, gentle breeze, BT home while there was still a bit of daylight.

Look for more completed Jane blocks over the next 48 hours.
