Dear Jane,

Every time I look at this block, it makes me sad–sad because I poked a hole in my first version of the block and had to start over completely from scratch, and sad because I did a lot of the work on this block while sitting in the vet’s office with Marina.  She is not well–urinary tract infection and liver problems.  The UTI will clear up, but I’m not so sure about the liver problem.  I have to take her back in two weeks to be rechecked.  Of course, at that point, I’ll just be coming up from the hospital with a new baby and will be an emotional wreck even without the added stress of a sick kitty.

BT just walked in the door, and I haven’t a clue what I am making for dinner.  I’d better close.
