Dear Jane,

E2 was another “Bear Lake Block,” and I just sewed the borders on this morning.  I’m really pleased with how this block turned out, and I particularly like the color choices.  It was fun to go through my mom’s stash and pull fabrics that were different than those in my own stash.  I’d love to NOT duplicate fabrics in my blocks, but that’s probably not practical or cost effective.  But hey, who ever said that this Dear Jane quilt was going to be “cost effective?”

As I sit here writing this entry, baby Tad is kicking the heck out of my ribs.  Two weeks, five days until he officially joins our family.  I bet that I won’t get much Dear Jane done for a while after he arrives, so I’d better close this post and get busy.
