Laying Eggs

After a few failed attempts and with the help of my dear genius mother, I laid these eggs last night.
I just love simple, inexpensive projects, and in the end, this one is a keeper!
I got the glass nest/bowl and the green moss from Dollar Tree. The fabric and ribbon were on sale at Hobby Lobby.

great minds must think alike because I saw on a blog someone who made those and was going to try the pattern out but now that I am a working mom there is really no time for that. Maybe next year after we get back on our feet. I didn’t even decorate for Easter or have anything planned.

Adorable!! I’m seriously impressed!! (I’m afraid I’m not ambitious enough to try it any time soon though. I have my own unfinished projects…scrapbooks years overdue, a family home evening board, birthday calendar…I guess I’ll just have to admire your creativity instead.)
